Geodesy Degree Geodesy is the science that studies the shape and size of the Earth’s surface or its individual sections by measuring their performance computing, construction, maps, plans, profiles, which are used in solving the engineering, economic and other problems.

Tasks of Geodesy

The task of geodesy is studying and applying:

Methods of measuring lines and angles on the Earth’s surface, underground (in shafts, tunnels), above the ground (with aerial photography) using special surveying instruments;
Computer processing of measurement results and the creation of digital terrain models using computer technology;
Graphic construction and design of maps, plans and profiles using computer graphics;
